My friends,

Since Sunday’s original positive Covid-19 case, 5 more people have come up positive who were in attendance. While it’s possible that some were infected elsewhere, the safest assumption is that we have an outbreak on our hands.

Out of love and care for you as well as our entire community, we will be shifting to online-only worship for the next two Sundays, May 29th and June 5th.

I know that this interferes with graduate Sunday and the spaghetti feed with the Scouts. I deeply grieve for all the work that has gone into those. We will find a way to honor our graduates and make you aware of our plans, and we will communicate with the Scouts to reschedule, if possible.

My dear church family, it grieves me that we are in this position. Yet, I also know that we are in a very different place medically than we were at the start of the pandemic. Each of you are in my prayers, and I ask that you all remain diligent in praying for each other. Call and check in with one another, as you can.

Please continue to monitor your health and inform us if you test positive.

May the God of all comfort bring you peace,

– Pastor Megan
