You’re invited to meet Flor Chavez, one of our former Sister Church Scholarship students from El Paisnal, El Salvador on Sunday, May 15th. She will be speaking during the worship service. Afterward, we’ll have an all-church Pot Luck to honor her. She will speak in more depth about the church scholarship program, our Sister Church relationship, and the current challenges in El Salvador. Flor is currently in the US to study nursing and is spending the week in Spokane with members of the Sister Church team.
Being a Pot Luck event, we trust that, as always, enough of the right stuff will appear. Beverages and desserts will be provided. Main dishes and salads are appreciated.
